Why Proud2Sell and Why Now?
This book and idea came out of a lot of pain. Even with two decades of sales experience and multiple awards for salesperson of the year and president's club, I still felt imposter syndrome and had a hard time shaking the image of the sleazy, used car salesman. The fear of being perceived as a snake oil seller was a big roadblock for me in my pursuit of sales success. Through paying attention to successful sales professionals in my life, and studying ethical sales and business people, I developed the belief that you can absolutely be successful in sales and be proud of your career while being able to look in the mirror every day. I put my thoughts and ideas about this topic into this book so that sales people who struggle with the same imposter syndrome I did can find hope and motivation in knowing that sales is not some taboo activity, rather, it is a career to be truly proud of as long as the rght motivations are in place.
